Pavlova

A delicious dessert to enjoy!

Egg whites

Berry sugar

1 cup
|
|
Place egg whites in a medium bowl, beat with electric mixer on high speed for 1 minute or until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar a little at a time. Beat well with each addition of sugar. Scrape sides of bowl several times. The beating will take about 10 minutes until peaks are stiff and hold their form.

Lightly grease oven tray and sprinkle lightly with flour, then remove. Pile the meringue into the tray in a circle with the sides slightly higher than the centre. Bake in 250°F oven for 1 hour or until dry and crisp. Turn oven off and let Pavlova cool in oven with door ajar for 1 hour.

Fill centre of Pavlova with whipped cream and top with fruit of your choice. Serves 4-6
