Clap your hands, all you nations: shout to God with cries of joy. How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth!
Psalm 47:1

Dear Prayer Partner,

This was emailed to our mentoring department the other day: "I have trouble accepting love from people.....I often find myself hating myself. I have trouble believing that even God loves me, even though I know we are His creation and worth dying for, and are all sinners at the same time. I feel so messed up and often think that I deserve to die, and that being forced to stay here is a punishment"

Every day we receive many similar requests on all issues of life. Your prayers are so valued, because answering requests like this, and writing articles on our site to minister to people like this requires a prayer covering. We pray for you today, our prayer team, that you will be encouraged in your hearts as you bring these many requests before the Throne of our great God. We join hands with you in these requests!

DAY
REQUESTS
MONDAY

ANSWERED PRAYER: We are excited to tell you that there continues to be an increase in the amount of people that are willing to volunteer as mentors for our sites. This is a very exciting and encouraging thing! *Thank you* for praying!

COMMUNITY CONCERNS:
Maria: I am trying to draw closer to the Lord, and every
time I do it seems the enemy discourages me.
Sherry: God moved my husband and I out of a church we were a part of
for seven years. We need to be connected to a church family. We need direction.

TUESDAY

"THE PASSION OF CHRIST" - Top five requests:

1. Safety for Mel Gibson and others involved in producing and promoting the Passion
2. Spirit of intercession released in Canada and received
3. Holy Spirit conviction released, drawing unbelievers to Christ
4. Boldness and uncompromising values held high
5. Increase in theaters showings NOT decrease.

COMMUNITY CONCERNS:
Nancy:
Please pray for Robin, 45 years old, just divorced, already living with a man she barely knows. She has deep financial problems and thinks she is wise and can handle what comes her way.
Gail: I am about to be evicted and I don't have a job. I am
at the end of my rope and don't know how to go on. I have been having thoughts of suicide even though I know this is never a solution. Just please pray for me to find a way out of this.

WEDNESDAY

"THE PASSION OF CHRIST" - Content:
God has continued to prompt the hearts of excellent authors to make their material available on our site TheLife. Thank God for his abundant provision, and pray for wisdom for the team as we try to bring order to all the material.

COMMUNITY CONCERNS:
Julie:
I would like to ask you to pray for my husband and myself. I am a Christian and he is basically a skeptic. He does not discuss his feelings or like any kind of intimacy. I pray that he finds God soon. We really need to come together as a family because he has a teenager who has serious emotional problems, and we have two children: one with severe special needs and a toddler.
Leonie (online mentor): My husband’s colonoscopy yesterday showed that he has a malignant tumour of the bowel. The doctor thinks we have caught it soon enough so that hopefully all of it can be excised. Please pray that this will be true and that there is no metastasis and that the surgery will go well.

THURSDAY

NEWSLETTERS
Our sites send out many newsletters per month. Pray that God would effectively use these newsletters to communicate with our audience, as well as show us how to continually develop this area of our site.

COMMUNITY CONCERNS:
Mary:
Please pray for me, my husband, my son, my father and my extended family. We are all suffering immense grief at the sudden death of our son, Anthony, last week. We are so sad and heart broken. We need your prayers.
Crystal: My mother has been diagnosed with lung cancer, which started in the breast. The doctor thinks it is also elsewhere in her body. Please pray for her healing.

FRIDAY
CHAT ROOM:
Please pray for our chat rooms, and the many people who enter there on a daily basis. Ask God for protection, discernment, sensitive hearts and understanding for all participants as well as wisdom for the leadership of the rooms.

COMMUNITY CONCERNS:
Jackie:
I'm requesting prayer for strength and patience. My biggest struggles are setting time for Bible reading and learning how to wait on God for guidance. I sometimes take matters in my own hands when I feel that things are not moving fast enough.
Weary Mom: Desperate for relief from depression and fatigue, courage as a newly divorced mom. I need Christian female friends for comfort and loneliness and hope for my future. I also need counseling for goals to get on feet, out of debt.

Blessings to you,
Kelly Ens
