When Tofu Won't Do
We seem to hear something daily about the benefits of soy foods. The isoflavones found in soy foods may help reduce cancer risk, control cholesterol and even prevent bone problems later in life. But what if you just can't handle tofu? Try one of these options for having your soy and eating it too:
Blend 1-2 tablespoons of soy protein powder, available at health food stores, into a fruit shake.
Grab a handful of roasted soy nuts for a snack.
Sample the growing selection of soy-based burgers and meat alternatives available at the grocery store.
